Fall Clinical Announcements
Low-Fee DBT & CBT: Starting in September, our supervised Clinical Externs will begin offering accessible, low-fee therapy options.
DBT Next Steps Group: Starting in October, this advanced 6-month group targets perfectionism and career, academic, and relationship goals. Move beyond crises towards long-term growth.
Social Wellness Month: July reminds us that strong relationships are one of the greatest predictors of mental and physical health. Many people believe that healthy relationships happen naturally or depend solely on finding the “right” person. In reality, this is deeply influenced by our individual relationship skill set.
Meaningful Connections: Starts with the ability to understand and manage our emotions, tolerate the discomfort and respond with love, rather than with destructive impulses. We become more present, understanding, effective.
These skills improve communication AND increase resilience, creating the foundation for secure attachment and lasting connection. In response to the growing loneliness epidemic, Dr. Bellet brings decades of board-certified DBT expertise to help you build emotional resilience and forge deeper, more meaningful connections.
This Month’s Reflection: Social Wellness
Take time to build a relationship inventory. Ask yourself:
- Where do you feel supported and understood?
- How do you cope during conflict or tough emotions?
Remember: How you treat yourself in difficult moments sets the benchmark for what you expect from others. Healthy relationships aren’t built by avoiding discomfort—they’re built by developing the resilience to move through it together.
Build the resilience and relationships you deserve. If you’re feeling stuck, our evidence-based DBT course gives you practical tools to break through and create meaningful connection. Try a free DBT lesson here!
