Who We Are

Patti McDannell, Billing Manager

Patti McDannell, BHBA’s Billing Manager, is a proud Brooklyn native—Bensonhurst and Coney Island, to be precise! A Brooklyn College graduate, Patti has built a dynamic career managing project budgets across a range of industries, including non-profits, marketing agencies, and professional associations. As a foundational staff member and Program and Events Director of the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy during its early stages, Patti played a key role in securing city and state support for the waterfront park we enjoy today. She was instrumental in bringing vibrancy to the space through arts programming, film series, and special events. Patti’s diverse professional experiences have equipped her with deep expertise in daily accounting, project budgeting, and cash flow management.

She founded Tidy Books Bookkeeping and Financial Organizing, where she helped small businesses navigate their finances. Her work supporting local young families with debt reduction, budgeting, and financial forecasting was particularly meaningful to her. After years of consulting with BHBA, Patti joined the organization full-time in 2020. She finds great fulfillment in building personal connections with patients and supporting them with kindness and compassion. When she’s not working, Patti enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and their two fabulous mixed mutts, Hazel and Dottie. She can often be found hiking, paddleboarding, reading, cooking, or volunteering with a program for incarcerated women.
