FT NYS LICENSED CHILD AND ADOLESCENT PSYCHOLOGIST! PT ALSO AVAILABLE
Brooklyn Heights Behavioral Associates is pleased to announce an exciting position for a full-time child and adolescent NYS licensed psychologist. This is a 35 hour work week position with a competitive salary range based on experience and skillset. The range is between $90,000-$120,000.
The scope of this position will combine conducting child and adolescent intakes and assessments for the practice and the caseload will include individual behavioral therapy (DBT, CBT) for children and conducting parenting treatment using Parent Management Training (PMT) for parents.
There is an option for a PT position of approximately 15 hours/week at a range of $38,000-$50,000 for the right candidate who is interested in only assessment work, but unable to commit to a caseload.
Health insurance, malpractice, workman’s compensation and disability insurance are included in the employment package. A set hourly wage without health benefits can also be considered for the PT position.
BHBA is an evidence-based practice that provides services to children, adolescents and adults. This thriving private practice setting needs a psychologist with strong risk assessment and diagnostic evaluation skills to provide solid intakes and coordinate new patient flow for the practice from a number of referral sources. Responsibilities also include working with parents, families, children, pre-teens and teens. Strong organizational and communication skills are a must. The psychologist will be expected to be highly organized and have great communication skills in writing, in person and over the phone. Preference will be given to psychologists who have experience in DBT, CBT, Parent Management Training and exposure therapy for OCD and trauma. In addition, the psychologist will supervise an extern in the practice on intake procedures and write-ups.
This psychologist needs to be a strong team player with a high degree of willingness to collaborate and coordinate patient care. If applying to the full-time position, must have strong clinical skills in evidence-based practices.
